USY, United Synagogue Youth, is a conservative Jewish youth movement. Swampscott/Marblehead USY is a chapter in the NERUSY (New England Region USY) region, which includes chapters all over Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Maine. USY consists of three age groups: Kadima ,which is for 5th and 6th graders; Jr. USY, which is for 7th and 8th graders; and Sr. USY, which is for 9th-12th graders. I am in the process of changing our chapter's listserve, as I can no longer use the one provided by the region. For those of you who don't know, a listserve is a way for the chapter to keep in communication. It is a mass e-mail system which will provide you with information about upcoming events and other relevent topics. Once I get the e-mails of everyone in our chapter, you will be automatically signed up, but to sign yourself up, send an e-mail here.
